Education & Training
Dr. Schuster completed his medical degree and received extensive surgical training in minimally invasive and bariatric procedures. He served as a Clinical Instructor of Minimally Invasive Surgery and a Research Fellow at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, where he collaborated to advance surgical techniques and expand the scope of bariatric care.
Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and elected as a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS), Dr. Schuster holds the credentials that reflect his commitment to surgical excellence and patient safety.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Schuster! He was incredibly supportive throughout my entire weight loss journey. What really stood out to me was how much he cares for his patients. When I was freaking out about having to take blood thinners, he actually called me personally to reassure me and answer all my questions. I've never had a doctor do that before! You can truly tell that he cares about each and every one of his patients, and I feel so lucky to have had him as my surgeon.
